聽到開場曲melatonin就會忍不住被吸引!
來自洛杉磯的silversun pickups在2006年發行的處女專輯Carnavas
主唱Brian Aubert略帶尖細的歌聲讓人想到碎南瓜的billy corgan
還有女貝斯手Nikki Monninger美麗的外貌和歌聲也是歌迷注目的焦點
自言深受My Bloody Valentine, the Velvet Underground, Elliott Smith, Sonic Youth, Modest Mouse,Secret Machines等樂團影響
被媒體定義為post-shoegaze的他們
確實保留了shoegaze的迷人噪音白色音牆,
但相較之下較為入世,不那麼害羞也不完全自溺,聽得出積極光明的面向,有時也會有點愛現耍帥
